Welcome Center is an information and contact point for foreign employees, doctoral students and interns at the Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics of the Polish Academy of Sciences (IBB PAS). Foreigners applying for admission to the Institute can count on comprehensive assistance and support in all formalities related to the arrival and legalization of their stay in Poland.

IBB Welcome Center also carries out networking, cultural and promotional activities, all serving to build an open and inclusive place for foreign scientists, supporting their full integration with the communities of IBB and Warsaw.

IBB Welcome Center carries out the following tasks:

• providing foreign IBB guests with information about the Institute and stay in Poland,
• providing help and assistance in solving issues related to visas, health insurance or residence permits,
• organizing networking and cultural meetings and events for and with the participation of international students and employees,
• promoting the opportunities for foreign employees offered by the Intitute,
• supporting IBB’s internationalization.
