Welcome Center 3.0 is a project funded completely by National Agency of Academic Exchange (NAWA) within the programme Welcome to Poland 2024.

Project activities:

1. Development of the Welcome Center:
   – Information and legal support point for foreigners.
   – Translation of documents and creating content for the website.
2. Skills development for staff and doctoral students:
   – Organization of two training sessions for academic and administrative staff: „Communication in an Intercultural Team” and „Leader in a Research Team,” between April and December 2026.
   – Organisation of training for administrative employees on Microsoft Office proficiency to increase staff efficiency, between May and September 2026.
   – Organisation of three intercultural workshops for employees and doctoral students to develop intercultural competencies and integrate all beneficiaries of the project between April 2026 and July 2027.
3. Support in the adaptation and integration of foreigners:
   – Creation of a mobile app to facilitate navigation within the IBB PAS building and provide access to key administrative information.
   – Implementation of the „Buddy” program to support the integration of new PhD candidates into the IBB community.
4. Integration of the IBB PAS community:
   – Organisation of at least 6 integration events.
5. Promotion:
   – Production of a promotional film.
   – Participation in two editions of job fairs.
