The Institute Receives NAWA Funding for the “Welcome Center 3.0” Project

We are pleased to announce that the Institute has received another funding under the National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) “Welcome to Poland” program for the implementation of the project “Welcome Center 3.0.” The project will be carried out from October 1, 2025 to September 30, 2027 and continues previous initiatives supporting the internationalization of the Institute. The awarded grant amounts to PLN 491,100.00.

As part of the project, activities will include the continuation of the information point for foreign researchers, the organization of intercultural workshops, as well as training for academic staff. New initiatives will include the launch of the “Buddy” program supporting the integration of new PhD students, and the development of a bilingual mobile application to facilitate navigation within the Institute.

The project will also cover the organization of integration events for the entire Institute community, the production of a promotional film about the Doctoral School, and participation in the life science job fairs.  Through this project, we will continue and expand our efforts in building a stronger and more international research environment.
