Below you can find a short checklist of the most important steps to be completed upon your arrival in Poland and start of your work/studies at IBB.

AFTER ARRIVAL – FIRST DAYS

• Sign HR documents
• Visit IBB Welcome Center
• Get Health and Safety training:
  • General online training (you’ll get the e-mail invitation)
  • Training specific for your position provided by your supervisor
• Undergo occupational medicine tests
• Get your magnetic card
• Get your protective boots and apron (if necessary for your work)
• If you are interested in IBB offer for employees/students:
  • Get Multisport card
  • Apply for private medical insurance
  • Sign up for a language course

AFTER ARRIVAL  – FIRST WEEKS

• Apply for PESEL number to the relevant City or Communal Office (pl. Urząd Miasta Ochota)
• Open a bank account
• Get Polish mobile phone number
• Apply for temporary residence permit
